Eleven-year-old Carter Siporin from Perkasie showcases his impressive baking skills on the latest season of Kids Baking Championship.

Eleven-year-old Carter Siporin from Perkasie has been showcasing his impressive baking skills on the latest season of Kids Baking Championship, reports Astrid Martinez for NBC10 Philadelphia.

Competing against 11 talented young bakers from across the country, he has wowed the judges with his stunning cakes and other exquisite baked creations.

Carter made his first two-tier wedding cake last year, but his love for baking began when he was just tall enough to reach the counter – with his mom as his first teacher.

“I kind of started helping my mom and then I’m kind of like ‘Oh, I want to try this by myself,’” said the boy. “And it just blossomed into, like, I love doing it all the time.”

Food Network took notice of Carter’s impressive creations and reached out to him via Instagram. Though he entered the audition process with modest expectations, he walked away with an invitation to join the show.

The grand prize includes $25,000, a feature in Food Network Magazine, and the coveted title of Kids Baking Champion – along with all the bragging rights that come with it. Given his remarkable talent, Carter is a strong contender to take home the top honor.

Watch the entire segment at NBC10 Philadelphia.
