Two Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders Will Represent Montco at the Super Bowl

On their way to New Orleans next weekend, two Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders will represent Montgomery County at the Super Bowl.

When the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders take the field in New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX on February 9, two of them will represent Montgomery County, writes Dino Ciliberti for the Patch.

Cassie Boone of Horsham is a fourth-grade teacher and has been on the squad for four years.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph’s University and a Masters of Science in Education from Gwynedd Mercy University. Passionate about working with children, Boone volunteers with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of America where she serves as a mentor.

“My favorite appearance as an Eagles Cheerleader was speaking on a panel hosted by the Philadelphia Eagles in conjunction with the NFL and Big Brothers, Big Sisters of America, to emphasize the importance of mentorship in the community,” she said.

Alexa Monteleone of Schwenksville is a Temple University graduate, earning her degree in journalism and political science magna cum laude. She has been an Eagles cheerleader for three years while working as an associate director of social media at Publicis Health.

Monteleone, who is legally blind without corrective lenses says she has worn glasses since age two and only takes them off right before stepping onto the field.
