Gopuff and Yards Brewing Company, two Philadelphia-based companies, have collaborated on a new all-natural hard seltzer drink, writes Franki Rudnesky for PhillyVoice.
The new limited-edition Gopunch, a fruity hard seltzer, can be delivered right to customers’ doorsteps and is also available through the Gopuff app and website, and in the Yards taproom at 500 Spring Garden Street.
Gopunch is 6 percent ABV and features a sweet, citrusy profile with notes of raspberry, lemon, and lime. According to Gopuff, its blue-ish color comes from beets.
The new drink is the culmination of two years of work between the two companies as part of a “brand-new category of fun and accessible all-natural alcoholic beverages.”
This marks the first time that Yards has created a packaged product along with another company. This new partnership with Gopuff represents a special Philly feel for two hometown brands.
“Partnering with Gopuff was a natural fit for us at Yards,” Tom Kehoe, Yards founder, said in a press release. “Both founded in Philadelphia by college best friends, we hold strong commitments to the local community, uplifting local businesses, and driving innovation on behalf of our customers.”
He added that he and his team are thrilled to bring the new Gopunch drink to customers and looks forward to continued collaboration with Gopuff.
