Midnight Pasta Offers Guests Opportunity to Make Own Pasta Dish, Enjoy Immersive Dinner Experience

Inside the Building 39 at the Frankford Arsenal, guests are taught to make pasta dishes that are used as part of a five-course meal.

Natalia Lepore Hagan, the founder of Midnight Pasta, hosts a weekly pasta party that allows everyone to get involved and have a good time, writes Timothy Walton for 6abc.

“Midnight Pasta is an immersive experience. It’s a pasta class that turns into a five-course dinner party with the pasta that the guests make themselves,” said Lepore Hagan.

She came up with the idea of creative an interactive dinner experience during the pandemic, when everyone had to be socially distanced but “were craving that shared experience,” she added.

In 2024, that idea became a business.

At Midnight Pasta inside Building 39 at the Frankford Arsenal, Lepore Hagan teaches a 45-minute pasta making class.

However, before that guests are greeted with cocktails and an opportunity to mingle amongst each other before the class begins.

Lepore Hagan helps the guests create two different shapes of pasta, sharing recipes she learned from her grandfather.

Once the guests make their pasta dishes, it paves the way for the dinner party with a five-course meal, with includes hand-crafted focaccia bread, a salad, and the two pasta dishes.

The menu is seasonal and local, with each dinner having a rotating menu of sauces.

For Lepore Hagan, the goal is to bring people together in a communal setting.
