Two Chester County companies were named on the RealLIST Startups 2026 ranking of 20 early-stage Philadelphia ventures to watch this year, writes Sarah Huffman for Technical.ly.
Each year, the list spotlights fast-growing early-stage companies across the region that are developing technology in major innovation sectors.
The honorees include companies founded in the past three years that have not yet reached the point of having a significant exit event.
Headquartered in Chester Springs, Breadcrumbs was recognized as one of the runners-up on the list. Since its founding in 2025 by John Wilson, Daniel Roberts, Stefanie Friedman, and David Backhus, the company has secured $200,000 in funding, with United Effects Ventures serving as its leading investor and strategic partner.
Donor X, based in Wayne, was also recognized in the runners-up section. Founded in 2023 by Patty Tawadros, the company has formed a partnership with National Lab, which manages 2,200 collection sites, and also took part in the DA4S Mentor Pitch Competition.
