If you’re walking around West Philadelphia, in Overbrook, you’re likely to find a boutique and meeting place that serves as a true gem in the community.
That place is Amatullah’s Treasures and can be described in three key ways: modest, elegant, and fabulous, reports Morgan Parrish for FOX 29.
“It is a one-stop shop for everything women. Clothing, jewelry, and accessories,” said Amatullah’s Treasures owner Atiya Havens.
While many women may come in looking for last-minute outfits for an event, Havens often helps them start with what they have and look for an accessory that helps elevate what they already have.
Amatullah’s Treasure recently took part in the Philadelphia Muslim Community Arts & Culture Festival.
The shop, which Havens operates as a one-woman show, is located in a valued area in West Philadelphia.
It’s located on Lansdowne Avenue in Overbrook and is accessible to City Avenue, the Expressway, and the trolley.
Amatullah’s Treasures is open Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 6 p.m.
