Fans hit the streets of Media Sunday for the borough’s second Eagles Super Bowl Pep Rally parade after only a week’s planning.
“We did this in 2023,” recalled Media Recreation Board member Vicki McMahon. “We’re kind of insane for trying to put it together within a week. It’s almost expected with Media. We put on so many parades.”
At 3 PM, State Street hosted the Eagles Pep Band, the South Philly String Band, the Ferko String Band, the Eagles helmet car, floats, and so much more.
On Monday, students and adults with disabilities at the Delaware County Intermediate Unit in Aston turned out hundreds of handmade custom Eagles buttons for Intermediate Unit employees.
Giovanni’s Barber Shop in Brookhaven has a $5 discount on haircuts this week if you show up in Eagles gear.
Over at Drexelbrook Catering & Event Center, a Super Bowl Watch Party will feature two big screen TVs and a buffet with tailgate specialties that include cheesesteaks, roast pork and tomato pie.
