When Philadelphia Eagles fans are ready to experience their Super Bowl dreams in person, airlines at Philadelphia International Airport are ready to get them there.
Airlines out of PHL are adding dozens of Super Bowl flights out of Philadelphia to New Orleans, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The Eagles will play against the Kansas City Chiefs on Feb. 9 at Caesars Superdome.
A combined 31 new nonstop flights have been added by American Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines and Delta Air Lines to Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport for Super Bowl LIX.
The American flight numbers will honor Eagles players, including AA126, which combines the jersey numbers of Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley, and AA717, combing Ron Jaworski and Harold Carmichael.
United’s three New Orleans flights will also honor the Eagles. Flight 2017 recognizes the team’s 41-33 win over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII.
Flights 2601 and 2203 include the jersey numbers of Barkley, Hurts, cornerback Kelee Ringo and linebacker Nolan Smith Jr.
Delta and Southwest planes will livestream the Super Bowl for passengers the evening of Feb. 9.
