Perfectly Flawless Boutique in Germantown focuses both on the shopping experience and the needs of others, reports Nick Iadonisi for 6abc.
Owner Crystal Jackson wanted to create more than just a women’s boutique for her business.
“I’ve built a safe place for women to feel empowered and uplifted. Everyone is given a prayer card at the end of their checkout,” she said.
The store’s concept is fashion therapy.
To this end, Jackson believes that clothes should empower their wearers to be creative and to feel confident.
Jackson started giving out clothes in front of the store on Thursdays.
Since then, the initiative has grown and now gives out clothes on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12 PM to 3 PM.
She noted that while she didn’t have a blueprint, she just knew this was something she wanted to do: combine her passion for fashion with a passion for helping people.
Through her Perfectly Flawless Foundation, Jackson launched the “Free Fashion Marketplace” program.
The program has helped Jackson fulfill her passions and also see the true impact she has been able to have on so many women and their families over the years.
