HipCityVeg in Center City has built a strong reputation for its tantalizing vegan “fast food” like the Ziggy Burger made with juicy vegan bacon and milkshakes made with soy-based ice cream.

Center City is also home to Vedge, which chefs Rich Landau and Kate Jacoby classify as more of a vegetable restaurant with a focus on fine-dining.

The Tasty in South Philadelphia is a top breakfast spot, serving up plant-based versions of everything from omelets and French toast to biscuits and gravy.
