94 WIP Sportsradio will remain the home of the Philadelphia Eagles thanks to a new contract extension.

WIP has been the Philadelphia Eagles’ flagship radio station for over 30 years and that partnership will continue for at least another half-dozen years, writes Jeff Blumenthal for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The Eagles and Audacy — the parent company of Sportsradio 94WIP — recently agreed to and signed a six-year contract extension to continue airing the team’s games through the 2028 season.

As part of the deal, WIP will continue to broadcast all Eagles games, including preseason, regular season, and playoff games. This is in addition to pre-game and post-game shows every game day.

David Field, David Yadgaroff, and so many others at Audacy have played an important role in shaping this successful relationship, including the station’s many loyal listeners over the years,” said Eagles President Don Smolenski.

The broadcast team is led by Eagles Hall of Famers Merrill Reese and Mike Quick in the radio booth and longtime WIP host Howard Eskin on the sideline.

In addition to the new extension, Audacy announced that beginning this season, Eagles games can now also be heard on the Audacy app on smartphones and smart speakers.

WIP is also the radio home of the Philadelphia Phillies
