Five Manor College Blue Jays finished among the national statistical leaders in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) this season — and one of them won a batting title by less than a thousandth of a point.
Junior shortstop-pitcher Charlie Levy claimed the USCAA Baseball Batting Average title with a .479 average across 96 at-bats in 34 games — edging the next closest qualifier by just 0.0009. He also ranked fifth in slugging percentage (.760) and tied for 10th in triples, making him one of only three USCAA players to finish in the top five in both categories. On the mound, Levy ranked 12th in strikeouts per nine innings (10.59).
The dominance wasn’t limited to the diamond. Manor swept the USCAA Division I scoring titles in three sports:
Sophomores Moussa Cherif and Jallah Murvee shared the Men’s Soccer scoring crown with 44 points across 21 matches. Junior Manny Roach averaged 22.0 points per game over 21 games to claim the Men’s Basketball title. Freshman Kyjanae Cooper led Women’s Basketball with 33.3 points per game in four games.
As a team, Manor’s baseball squad tied for 14th among 42 USCAA programs with eight triples, and the Blue Jays’ catchers tied for 12th nationally with 16 baserunners caught stealing. Senior Cidrick Navas also cracked the national rankings, tying for 22nd with nine starts on the mound.
The Blue Jays completed the season under third-year Head Coach Charles “P.J.” Hackett.
