Part-Time Caregiver: Private Duty
Innovative Home Services (IHS) at Freedom Village at Brandywine is a private-duty home care currently seeking extraordinary, compassionate, motivated, and energetic companions/caregivers/homemakers to join its team.
As an IHS Companion, you will provide light housekeeping and companion services, one-on-one, all while working on a beautiful, upscale campus.
IHS provides individual private duty supportive care that is personalized to the needs of residents here in the Freedom Village community, seven days a week.
Previous companion experience is preferred. Innovative Home Services offers the opportunity to have a flexible schedule depending on your availability, up to 20+ hours a week. Working as a companion, you will enjoy independence and flexibility while working with a great team at its West Brandywine location.
Job duties can include:
- Personal care assistance, such as showers, dressing, and grooming.
- Shopping and errands.
- Companionship.
- Medication reminders.
- Light housekeeping, such as laundry.
- Assistance with going to medical appointments.
Qualifications:
- Is kind, reliable, and compassionate.
- Current HHA certificate. Current CPR certification.
- Previous HHA experience is great, but not required.
- Has the ability to read, follow written instructions, and document services provided.
- Is self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision.

Medication Technician
Freedom Village is seeking certified medication technicians to work part-time, 2 PM to 10:30 PM. DHS certification is required.
The position starts at $18/hour on all shifts, with shift differential for Evenings, Nights, and Weekends.
Freedom Village is searching for compassionate caregivers with a strong desire to provide excellent care to its assisted living and memory care residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with ambulation and mobility.
- Assist with personal care and hygiene.
- Report any unusual incidents.
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.

Qualifications:
- You have Medication Technician experience.
- You hold a DHS certification.
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR).

Assistant Director of Nursing
Freedom Village is recruiting for an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), responsible for the overall supervision of nursing care in the Health Center.
The position starts at $95,000, and there is a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Pay rate starting at $16.50/hour with shift differential for nights, evenings, and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises direct nursing care in the Health Center.
- Administers direct nursing care when more than routine care is indicated.
- Makes routine rounds to assure proper care and a safe, clean resident environment.
- Assures accuracy and completeness of medical records.
- Coordinates, conducts, and documents the MDS, resident care plans, and conferences in the absence of the MDS nurse.
- Supervises nursing personnel on all shifts. Participates in staffing, scheduling, counseling, orientation, and evaluation of nursing staff.
- Assists with the orientation of nursing personnel.
- Participates in family/resident counseling.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Registered nurse with a current license in PA.
- Two years’ experience in geriatric nursing and/or a B.S. Degree in nursing.
- Previous supervisory experience.
