However, according to real estate experts, the best place to live in the state is Philadelphia, writes Lydia Mansel for Travel + Leisure.

Why? It’s relative affordability is among the main reasons.

“The city is highly affordable compared to other cities, with a median home price of $270,000, making it a popular destination for those seeking reasonably priced housing,” Bill Lublin, CEO of Century 21 Advantage Gold, said.

In addition to the affordability, Philadelphia is also a city compromised of more than 150 communities, each of which offering unique experiences.

Beyond its various neighborhoods, Philly is also home to a great array of museums, such as the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Rodin Museum, Barnes Foundation, Museum of the American Revolution, the Franklin Institute, and more.

Philadelphia is also the birthplace of American history, liberty, and democracy. With sites like Independence Hall, National Constitution Center, the Betsy Ross House, and others, the history is aplenty.

You also can’t mention Philadelphia without mentioning the strong culinary scene and sports culture.
