Two Philly Institutions Named Among 50 Best Party Schools in America

Niche has compiled a list of the 50 best party schools in America and two Philadelphia schools found its way onto the list.

College is often deemed as among the best years of a person’s life, and while classes and exams are a big part of the experience, one of the other lighter-hearted components are the parties.

With the need to also balance a social life amidst the stress and pressures of college, parties are often a nice source of reprieve.

To this end, Stacker has compiled a list of the top 50 party schools in America through 2026 rankings from Niche, and two Philadelphia institutions are on the list, write Madison Troyer and Zack Abrams for Stacker.

In descending order, Temple University ranked as the No. 47 party school in the nation.

Its party scene earned an A+ grade with an overall A- niche grade.

The North Philadelphia institution enrolls just under 20,000 full-time undergraduate students with an 8:1 student-to-faculty ratio. Its acceptance rate is 83 percent with typical SAT scores ranging between 1010 and 1230.

Meanwhile, a few spots higher at No. 41 is the University of Pennsylvania. The school earned an A+ in both its party scene and overall Niche grade, respectively.

The Ivy League institution enrolls just over 10,000 students with a 6 percent acceptance rate. Its student-to-faculty ratio is 5:1, while typical SAT scores range between 1500 and 1570.
