Fishtown Woman Reunites With Missing Engagement Ring After Outreach from Delaware Pawn Shop

A Fishtown woman had already begun the processing of buying another diamond ring when the one she had recently lost resurfaced.

A Fishtown woman has found the engagement ring she had previously lost after someone tried selling it at a pawn shop, according to a 6abc Digital Staff report.

Back in September 2025, Casey Corradin’s fiancé proposed to her with a black diamond ring.

In February, she removed the ring to apply hand sanitizer while sitting in her car. Corradin placed the ring in the cup holder before going to a car wash in Delaware.

According to her, she stepped out briefly while the workers cleaned her car’s interior. Upon returning, she noticed the ring was gone.

“I was like, ‘My ring’s missing, my ring’s missing,’” Corradin said. “I had three rings in my cup holder, and my engagement was the only ring that was missing.”

After failing to find the ring, she called the police. A search of the car wash, surveillance video review, and a deep clean of the facility’s vacuums led nowhere.

From there, Corradin posted about her loss on TikTok, prompting her father, Paul, to visit local pawn shops with flyers of the ring.

Shortly thereafter, the owner of a pawn shop near where she lost the ring contacted the family after recognizing it.

Now that she’s found the ring, Corradin said, “I’m never taking this ring off again.”
