Restaurant Business recently released its most recent top 100 list of the nation’s top-grossing independent restaurants and two Philadelphia eateries made the list, writes Mike D’Onofrio for AXIOS Philadelphia.
The two Philadelphia restaurants are Parc and Barclay Prime, respectively.
Parc, the French bistro in Rittenhouse Square, came in at No. 20 overall on the list. It raked in more than $24.3 million while serving more than 442,000 meals.
Its average check came out to $49.
Barclay Prime, a steakhouse also located in Rittenhouse Square, ranked No. 96 on the list. This spot brought in over $11.5 million en route to serving approximately 65,600 meals.
An average check there came out to $209.
Restaurants are included on this list if they have fewer than six locations.
The rankings are based on gross food and drink sales from 2024, and the information is gathered through surveys or estimates based on public data and various other factors.
