Nordstrom Rack, the off-price division of Nordstrom, will launch four new locations in the Philadelphia area, with one set for Exton.

Nordstrom Rack, the off-price division of Nordstrom, is preparing to launch four new locations in the Philadelphia area, with one set for Exton in the fall, writes Jeff Blumenthal for the Philadelphia Business Journal

The Exton store will cover 30,000 square feet and be located inside Main Street at Exton, a popular shopping center at Routes 30 and 100. The retail complex, owned and managed by Plymouth Meeting-based Wolfson Group, already has tenants such as Walmart, Lidl, Barnes & Noble, Sephora, Athleta, Old Navy, and Banana Republic.

The Seattle-based fashion retailer will also open a store in Media and two additional South Jersey locations this year, bringing the total number of stores in the Philadelphia area to ten.

Existing locations include Towne Place at Garden State Park in Cherry Hill, King of Prussia Town Center, Willow Grove Park, 1700 Chestnut Street in Center City, Lincoln Plaza in Langhorne, and Christiana Fashion Center in Newark, Delaware.

Nordstrom Rack provides brand-name apparel, shoes, accessories, and home goods at heavily discounted prices, sometimes up to 70 percent less than Nordstrom’s main stores. The brand features overstocked items, merchandise from prior seasons, and products made specifically for Nordstrom Rack.
