Want to create a career journey map or other visual from your LinkedIn profile? You must ensure your LinkedIn profile is up to date before generating a graphic for a post.

There is a German AI platform called My Journey that lets you create a custom graphic of your career journey. You may need to have Google Translate open on another tab if you don’t Deutsch sprechen!

Although there is a choice to use English, I found that it does not “play nice” with all texts.

I chose a 16 x 9 landscape image, but you can also select a 9:16 story or a 1:1 square format.

Next, you will have to choose a visual style. When I have time, I would like to play with all of the choices. For now, I decided on “Reise-Karte,” which was the career “travel map.”

After you agree to their terms and conditions, you will need to provide your email address to receive their email. You can always unsubscribe later.

When you return to the platform, your image will be there. My face and hair look absolutely nothing like me, but I liked the rest of the visual, including the French flag and the Mickey ears, because I am a #DisneyNerd!

After downloading the image from My Journey, I imported it into a blank Canva image 900 x 500 px. That way, I could further share it as a JPG, PNG, or whatever format I needed, depending on where I was going to use it.
