Nick Sirianni is NFL’s Fourth-Best Head Coach, According to Latest CBS Sports Rankings

Nick Sirianni was ranked as the fourth-best coach in the NFL, by CBS Sports, a huge leap from his ranking last year at 15th.

Nick Sirianni has drastically reshaped his perception and reputation around NFL circles over the past year and many are taking notice, writes Aiden Kauffman for Athlon Sports.

In CBS Sports‘ new rankings of NFL head coaches, Sirianni ranked fourth in the league, a major jump from his No. 15 ranking a year ago.

Last year, Sirianni and the Philadelphia Eagles were coming off an epic collapse of a season. What started out as a 10-1 season, ended with just an 11-6 record and an unceremonious exit from the NFL Playoffs in the Wild Card Round.

Many were calling for his job after that collapse.

Things weren’t exactly looking up to start this past season either, entering its Week 5 bye week with a 2-2 record.

From that point on; however, the Eagles finished the remainder of the regular season with a 12-1 record en route to becoming Super Bowl championships.

CBS Sports writer Cody Benjamin explained how Sirianni helped turn the Eagles’ season around.

“His brash antics to close a pitiful 2023 collapse were enough to have Eagles fans reasonably pondering whether he’d totally failed an all-star assembly. Then he put his head down and became the behind-the-scenes glue for a remarkable rebound with a historically dominant finish,” he said.
