The Wawa Mastercard is now a thing.
The Delaware County convenience store chain announced it is teaming up with the First National Bank of Omaha on a credit card that will generate savings and everyday rewards for customers.
Cardholders will be able to save on fuel costs, earn points toward purchases, and enjoy exclusive Wawa benefits, according to an FNBO release.
The Wawa Mastercard offers a 50-cent savings per gallon at Wawa pumps as a statement credit for the first 30 days, along with ongoing 5-cent savings per gallon after that.
The card also enables customers to earn credit card points on Wawa purchases and everyday spending.
“We are deeply appreciative of our customers and we’re thrilled to launch a credit card experience that aligns with what they value the most,” said Preston Hawkins, Wawa Treasurer.
Other key benefits of the Wawa Mastercard include:
- 3x Points per $1 spent on Wawa purchases (excluding fuel at the pump).
- 1x Point per $1 spent everywhere else Mastercard is accepted.
- Earn a $25 Wawa Gift Card automatically for every 2,500 points earned, redeemable at Wawa stores or on the Wawa app.
- Enjoy the benefits of the Mastercard network.
