Mayfair Diner, which has served customers affordable and delicious food for nearly a century, was recently put up for sale, writes Alana Beltran for NBC10 Philadelphia.
Opened in 1932, Mayfair Diner in Holmesburg is known for its classic 1950s-style dining for the whole family.
However, with the diner now going up for sale, there is the possibility of the diner being no more.
Wolf Commercial Real Estate, who put the diner up for sale, did not include an asking price as part of the listing.
Owner Michael Petrogiannis, however, purchased the property for $750,000 in 2006, according to property records.
Since its opening 93 years ago, Mayfair Diner has endured a number of renovations. It has also been visited by the likes of former presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.
The 3,340-square-foot building can sit more than 100 people and is among the longest diners in the tri-state area.
The diner is scheduled to remain open while it is on the market.
