Pennsylvania is home to quite a few amazing seafood restaurants, and there are at least three underrated ones in Philadelphia that are worth dining, writes Claire Allard for Family Destinations Guide.
For starters, there’s Seafood Unlimited in Rittenhouse Square.
The friendly neighborhood fish market is located in the heart of a Philadelphia.
Its menu never gets stale, as it changes regularly based on what the fishermen bring in. Similarly, the signature dish is whatever dish the chef recommends that particular day.
Some delicious options include the grilled octopus, seafood pasta mixed with three different types of shellfish, pan-seared scallops, grilled salmon, and much more.
Pearl’s Oyster Bar provides a classic oyster house feel with dozens of different oyster types available for customers.
Oysters aren’t the only menu items, however.
Customers can also indulge in clam chowder and lobster rolls, or fresh shrimp cocktails with homemade cocktail sauce.
If you’re near the Italian Market, Anastasi Seafood is a must-visit spot.
Vendors there have been selling fresh fish for more than a century.
Fish is the star of the show for its menu, whether you’re in the mood for grilled salmon or a fish sandwich. Crab cakes are another option.
