The NFLPA recently released its newest top 50 NFL player sales list, and a Philadelphia Eagles player is at the very top, writes Chris Cwik for Yahoo! Sports.
Eagles’ running back Saquon Barkley is this year’s league leader in merchandise sales, doing so in his historic first season with the team.
Barkley surpassed teammate and Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts, who led the league in merchandise sales last year.
This year, Hurts finished third behind Barkley and Patrick Mahomes.
Barkley is the first running back to lead the NFL in merchandise sales since 2017.
His most recent season was one for the ages, as he became just the ninth running back in NFL history to rush for over 2,000 yards.
Barkley finished with 2,005 rushing yards to go along with 13 rushing touchdowns and two receiving touchdowns.
And of course, he also won the Super Bowl.
