Amanda Johnson, a photographer from Levittown, takes photos of strangers meeting for the first time, and her latest pictures have gone viral, writes Marcella Baietto for CBS News.
Johnson enjoys playing matchmaker, offering what she calls “stranger sessions.”
“I get two strangers together and we have fun, take a photo shoot, and apparently the internet really liked it,” she said.
Her recent shoot in Fairless Hills at Red Rhino Car Wash captured the connection between Teresa Dittes and Dylan Waskiewicz.
Waskiewicz mentioned that he had heard about Johnson’s sessions and was interested in trying one himself.
The photos show the pair having fun in the car wash, along with some intimate moments between them.
When Johnson posted the images to social media, viewers were blown away by the connection between the two. They bombarded her with questions about Dittes and Waskiewicz, asking if they were together.
Dittes told Johnson that the two had recently gone on a date and were happy to provide an update.
“We went out to dinner, and it went well because clearly, we’re here. Online dating is awful. This was definitely a very interesting way to meet someone, but it was also a fun experience as well,” said Dittes.
