Doylestown’s dining scene is set to become even more dynamic, with three new eateries expected to open in the coming months, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.
The Snarky Tea House, an Alice in Wonderland-inspired tea house cafe and retail space, has put up its sign at 24 North Main Street, marking this as its new home.
“Our wonderland-inspired tea house is nearing completion and we’re so excited to show you what it is, and what it isn’t – or perhaps both,” owners posted on social media. “Maybe neither. Either way, we hope you get there when it opens.”
The Snarky Tea House is expected to open later this month.
There is little information available about Carve 52, which is set to open in the former Rakkii Ramen space at 52 East State Street, aside from a social media post claiming it will serve “fresh meat on fresh seeded rolls – none of that deli meat stuff!”
Red Rooster Hot Chicken is also coming to East State Street, taking over the former Quinoa location. The eatery, owned and operated by Central Bucks East graduate Rahim “Rich” Kakar, specializes in Nashville hot chicken and is expected to open this summer.
