New Construction at Barn Plaza to Create Trio of Eateries

Construction is underway on a new standalone building at Barn Plaza that will bring three fresh dining options to the shopping center.

Construction is underway on a new 7,500-square-foot standalone building at Barn Plaza in Doylestown that will bring three fresh dining options to the shopping center, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.

“We’re anticipating delivering that space to the tenants by mid-year,” said William Greimel, the vice president of redevelopment with Brixmor Property Group, which owns the shopping center.

The new building currently being built on the site of the former Applebee’s, will house Chipotle Mexican Grill in 2,394 square feet, while First Watch, a breakfast and lunch spot, will occupy 3,900 square feet. A third tenant for the remaining 1,200 square feet is still to be announced.

“We expect them to be opening sometime around October or November of this year,” said Greimel.

Construction started late last year and is expected to be finalized sometime this summer.

Florida-based First Watch specializes in made-to-order breakfast, brunch, and lunch, all crafted with fresh ingredients. As of August, the chain boasts over 535 locations across 29 states.

Its chef-driven menu features elevated takes on classic favorites, along with specialties like the Quinoa Power Bowl, Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos, and Avocado Toast, among many others.
