Malvern CEO Grew Wellness Tech Company to Help Over 70 Million People

Tony Frick took over as HUSK as CEO in 2016 to save the company from financial struggles and expand the scope of health resources.

CEO Tony Frick has turned the Malvern wellness company HUSK into one of the nation’s top health startups, writes Gina Lizzo for Main Line Today.

After taking over as HUSK’s CEO in 2016, Frick saved the company from financial troubles by expanding the number of health resources that the company provides.

It was originally called GlobalFit and focused primarily on physical training and fitness. Since rebranding, the company now assists companies and organizations in providing a wider scope of health resources to employees and community members.

HUSK’s health resources now include mental health services, nutrition, physical therapy, and accessible exercise opportunities. The rebrand focused on making these opportunities more accessible to patients by prioritizing telehealth and widening the number of health insurances accepted.

Since the rebrand led by Frick, revenue has grown by 30 percent each year. With such remarkable growth, HUSK was purchased by the Volaris Group, a $70 billion public company, in September 2024.

In addition to financial growth, HUSK’s transformation has had a valuable impact on communities and patients nationwide by helping over 70 million people access the health resources they need.
