Court 16 Opens Pennsylvania’s First Pickleball and Tennis Club in Fishtown

Court 16 has opened its first pickleball and tennis court facility outside of New York with its new Fishtown location.

Court 16, the New York-based private tennis and pickleball club, recently celebrated the opening of its first Pennsylvania facility in Fishtown, writes Mike D’Onofrio for AXIOS Philadelphia.

The new boutique facility is 14,000 square feet and features four courts.

Players of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to participate.

“Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where everyone can discover a love for the game, build new connections, and enjoy a modern take on the sport,” Anthony Evrard, co-founder and CEO of Court 16, said in a press release.

The Court 16 facility offers classes, along with private and group lessons for tennis and pickleball. There are also pickleball leagues.

Beyond that, kids lessons, academies, and camps are also available.

A single adult tennis membership costs $425 annually, while pickleball costs $340. A kids membership costs $425 annually.

Meanwhile, the lessons, court rentals, and kids programs are pay-as-you-go.

Philadelphia joins Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Yonkers as the only cities with Court 16 locations.
