Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid is selling his luxury penthouse in Society Hill for $5.5 million, writes Michael Tanenbaum for PhillyVoice.
Embiid’s condo on the 11th floor of a building at 101 Walnut Street is a two-bedroom property that covers about 3,500 square feet.
It includes two balconies on the main level, and a private rooftop space with a pool, hot tub, and outdoor kitchen.
The penthouse also has two full bathrooms and two half bathrooms.
The amenities at the building include a virtual doorman and elevators that lead directly to the suites.
Embiid purchased the property in 2018 for $3.2 million.
Earlier in his career, Joel Embiid lived at a condo inside Two Liberty Place in Center City, which he acquired thanks to help from John Bolaris, a local meteorologist-turned-real-estate agent.
