Philadelphia Eagles Fan Discovers Jacket At Super Bowl Parade With Special Note Attached

Philadelphia Eagles fan Amy Rannabarger discovered an Eagles varsity jacket at the Super Bowl parade that was left behind during the 2018 parade. There was a special note inside.

While Philadelphia Eagles fan Amy Rannabarger went to the recent Super Bowl parade like many others, she didn’t leave without a special discovery, writes Ariel Simpson for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

As people were leaving, Rannabarger discovered a vintage, kelly green Eagles jacket hanging from a light post.

Rannabarger approached the jacket and found that there was a note attached to it, which caught her eye. She even admits that she likely would have simply left the jacket where it was had she not seen the note.

The note read: “If found, do not return. This jacket belongs to you! I found this jacket on the night of the Super Bowl in 2018 and it only felt right to release back into the city when the Eagles won again. Enjoy the jacket. I hope you get the opportunity to release back into the world with another Super Bowl win soon. Go Birds.”

Rannabarger didn’t follow much sports until moving to Philadelphia about a year or two after the Eagles won its first Super Bowl in 2018.

Since finding the jacket, she hopes to be able to now start a tradition for when the Eagles’ next Super Bowl win takes place.
