The Philadelphia Flyers have opened a new store dedicated to Gritty inside the Wells Fargo Center, writes John George for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
The new store, called Gritty’s Chaos Factory, is located on the main concourse across from Gritty’s Chaos Corner and will be open to all fans during the Flyers’ home games.
The store will include a spot where you can build your own Gritty plushie, known as the “Itty Bitty Gritty.” With it, you can choose between six of Gritty’s iconic outfits, along with three different jerseys.
Gritty’s Chaos Factory will also sell T-shirts and hats, bobbleheads, keychains, lanyards, and more.
“A couple of things came together to bring this to life,” said Christine Mina, the Philadelphia Flyers senior vice president of marketing. “We’ve really had a lot of focus on retail over the last two years and we’re going it in-house now. Gritty items are always big sellers and we had some unused concourse space we wanted to develop. All of that came together to make this a reality.”
An individual plushie costs $39.99, including the choice of one jersey, while additional outfit costs span between $14.99 and $19.99.
