Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith celebrated New Year’s Eve by getting engaged to his girlfriend, Mya Danielle, writes Tabitha Parent for People.
The couple got engaged on the roof of a tall building in front of a colorful flower arch that featured roses, sunflowers, and greenery.
There were also candles that decorated the floor, while a violinist was on hand to serenade the newly-engaged couple.
“Went on a ROCK climbing adventure with my forever tonight ????,” Danielle captioned in an Instagram post sharing the news.
Smith and Danielle’s engagement comes just days after it was announced that the couple is expect their second child.
They debuted their relationship on Instagram in June 2023, four months before welcoming their first child, a daughter named Kyse, back in October 2023.
Despite missing several games due to injury, DeVonta Smith finished with another strong season, his fourth with the Eagles. He finished the season with 68 receptions for 833 yards and eight touchdowns in 13 games.
