Philadelphia recently opened its newest newest entertainment and music venue, and it is already a must-visit, reports Astrid Martinez for NBC 10 Philadelphia.
Cellar Dog, a jazz lounge and gaming destination, is now open along South 15th Street.
“Finding this spot in Center City, where there’s so much action, I think we’re just going to add to the whole vibe of the area,” said Arthur Backal, the owner of Cellar Dog.
His main mission with the 8,000-square-foot venue is to give individuals a new place to have fun and forget about all the stress and pressures going on outside in their lives.
At Cellar Dog, you can enjoy live jazz performances, games like pool, ping pong and shuffleboard, and a wide selection of bar food classics that are packed with flavor and designed for sharing.
Menu items include signature dishes like the smash burger and pub style wings, hotdogs, the Philly cheesesteak, hot Italian pretzel sandwich, and a short rib Sloppy Joe. For dessert, there is also the fried Twinkies with caramelized apples.
Cellar Dog can serve as a nice spot for a relaxing night out, a place to celebrate, or host a private event.
