Frank Romean and Alex Lynn have long attended card shows, until one day, Romean approached Lynn and asked about his interest in running a card show together.
He obliged, and together the two of them created the “Brotherly Love Card Show,” reports Matteo Iadonisi for 6abc.
Since hosting their first event in January 2023, the duo have hosted about 10 since.
“There’s more collectors today than ever before, more interest,” said Lynn. “Whether it’s Pokemon … sports cards … everyone is always adding to their collection, selling, buying, trading, finding new cards. The chase never ends.”
After noticing the demand in the local area, Romean and Lynn recently hosted a card show at the Live! Casino & Hotel in South Philadelphia on Saturday, Dec. 28.
The interest has only continued to grow as 150 tables were in attendance.
The next “Brotherly Love Card Show” is scheduled to take place at Congregation Beth El in Voorhees, New Jersey, on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025.
“If you used to collect, I encourage you to reinvigorate that love for collecting, and come out to a card show. It will light up the kid inside of you and you’ll have a ton of fun,” Lynn said.
