Norristown Native Quinn Sullivan Secures Promising Contract Extension with Philadelphia Union

Securing the future of Norristown native Quinn Sullivan was a top offseason priority for the Philadelphia Union, reports Matthew DeGeorge for The Reporter.

This led to a swift contract extension. The talented player has signed a new deal that runs through 2027, with a team option for 2028. Sullivan had an impressive breakout season, standing out as a key player even though the Union missed the playoffs.

He played in all 34 league games, contributing five goals and 11 assists, ranking second on the team in the latter. At just 20 years old, Sullivan is the youngest player in Union history to reach over 10 career goals and assists, marking him as a significant Homegrown talent.

Sporting Director Ernst Tanner highlighted Sullivan’s versatility and maturity. “As one of only two players to appear in every regular season match, his growing importance to the club is clear,” he said.

Sullivan’s re-signing brings the Union to 22 players under contract for next season, reinforcing the team’s foundation for the years ahead. Not only does Quinn bring promise to the Union, but his 14-year-old brother, Cavan, is also part of the Philadelphia Union organization, potentially heralding another rising star in the family.
