Road Trip Food Favorites Come From Wawa and Beyond

Wawa's cream cheese-stuffed pretzel was one of 11 recommended road travel foods.

There are 11 top-tier cult-favorite gas station foods, including two Wawa options, that need to make it into your next road trip, writes Allison Arnold for Delish.

These food items, selected with help from Delish editors, go way beyond beef jerky, chips, or snack mix.

Wawa can give you the traditional rest stop fare, but it’s massive food menu has you covered for all snacks and meals.

For snacking, the cream-cheese-stuffed pretzels are a highlight, with regular cream cheese, or sweet and jalapeno versions.

Wawa’s also there for you with its sandwiches.

“Wawa’s enormous menu has too many highlights to list, but it’s famous for its wide variety of sandwiches. Trust us, try the Chicken Cheesesteak with bacon,” Arnold writes.
