Cescaphe To Take Over Operations For Ballroom at Bellevue Hotel

The ballroom inside The Bellevue Hotel will be taken over by Cescaphe and be known as, The Grand Belle.

Cescaphe, the Philadelphia wedding and events company, will be renovating and transforming the event venue at the Bellevue Hotel, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal

The first-floor ballroom will soon become The Grand Belle, as part of a complete reimaging of the Bellevue.

“The restoration of The Grand Belle will mark a new chapter in the hotel’s history, as it continues to serve as a cultural and social hub in the city,” said Cescaphe co-founder and chief creative officer, Andrea Volpe, in a statement.

A Cescaphe representative said that renovations are expected to be completed in April.

Once opened, The Grand Belle will feature over 11,000 square feet of event space across several rooms, and be able to host weddings and receptions.

There will also be two smaller spaces — the Clover Room and State Room — available for use during events.

The goal of the new venue will be to bring it to a modern age while also honoring its past.

“We look forward to having it become an integral part of Philadelphia’s social scene, just as it was years ago,” said co-founder and CEO Joe Volpe.

The Bellevue first opened in 1904, while Cescaphe was founded in 2003.
