In Time For the Holidays, 30th Street Station Tapped Rutgers University-Camden as Its Sole Advertiser, Leading to Design Takeover

The Rutgers-University takeover at 30th Street Station featured banners, video screens, floor advertisements, and door wraps.

Individuals walking through 30th Street Station during the holiday season would be hard-pressed not to notice the familiar scarlet-red and white color scheme.

The color scheme is the result of its partnership with Rutgers UniversityCamden, which has taken up residency as 30th Street Station’s sole advertiser, writes Dustin Petzold for Rutgers-Camden.

According to Chancellor Antonio Tillis, the Rutgers-Camden 30th Street Station Takeover is a reflection of the growth of the university’s reach throughout the Delaware Valley.

It also provided an opportunity for the university to bolster its brand in one of the nation’s largest higher-education markets — Philadelphia.

Ryan Bunch, a Philadelphia resident who earned his doctorate in childhood studies in 2023, felt Rutgers-Camden was perfect for him.

Natalie Ramos, also a Philadelphia resident and a senior in the School of Business, said Rutgers-Camden stood out to her as the ideal school to complete her degree as a transfer student.

“Traveling over the bridge from Philadelphia to Camden only takes 10 minutes, which is even less of a commute than it would take to go to other universities,” she said. “Not only that, but there is a sense of community here that I could feel the moment I stepped onto campus.”

The campaign launched Nov. 20 and continued through Dec. 31.
