Wealth Management Consultant Buys West Chester’s Meradia, Moving HQ to Borough

Lee Minkoff of Renovus Capital Partners. West Chester’s Meradia was acquired by F2 Strategy, a portfolio company of Renovus Capital Partners, and chosen as the headquarters for the combined company.

West Chester-based Meradia was acquired by F2 Strategy, a portfolio company of Renovus Capital Partners in Wayne, and selected the borough as the headquarters for the combined company, writes Jeff Blumenthal for the Philadelphia Business Journal

Following a relocation from Chicago, the new owner plans to expand the company’s local headcount. F2 already maintains several employees in the Philadelphia region, including Chief Financial Officer Jay Halbert, previously of Comcast Spectacor and Alkemy X, who has been working remotely.

“It’s a great place to work,” said Lee Minkoff, Renovus’ managing director overseeing the professional services sector. “So now that we’ve got a true home base that’s ours, we’ll be hiring more talent to the Philadelphia area.”

Meradia, with 50 employees working from its West Chester offices, is the largest of six acquisitions completed by F2 since Renovus acquired it in June 2023. F2 has expanded from 25 employees to around 200 in that period.

F2 assesses, implements, and manages technology for wealth managers and asset managers. It concentrated on registered investment advisers, independent broker-dealers, and independent or bank-owned trust companies during its first two years in the Renovus portfolio.
