Meet the Northeast Philly Brothers Sharing Success in Their Respective Sports

Frankie Westfield of the Philadelphia Union and his brother, Rocco Westfield of Father Judge High School's basketball team, are each building an impressive trophy case, making Philly proud.

Two brothers from Northeast Philadelphia are each finding success within their respective sports, building their trophy case, writes Pat Gallen for CBS News Philadelphia.

Last year, the older from Frankie Westfield made his debut with the Philadelphia Union. The next day, his younger brother Rocco Westfield helped lead Father Judge High School’s basketball team to winning the Philadelphia Catholic League title.

Just last week, Rocco and Father Judge High School’s basketball team won their second second consecutive Catholic League title.

With this win, Rocco is able to close his high school career with back-to-back championship wins after the school had just gone on a 27-year championship drought.

Meanwhile, Frankie and Union won the Supports’ Shield trophy last October.

“We’re just happy to be where we are and blessed to be where we are,” Frankie Westfield said.

Looking ahead, Rocco and Father Judge will be competing in the District 12 Class 6A title game before heading to the state playoffs.

Frankie, on the other hand, is eager to get back to playing MLS and Concacaf Champions Cup games for the Union.

The brothers are each happy for one another, and each of their success pushes the other to be even better.
