Horse riding has long shaped Devon’s history and culture, especially during the renowned Devon Horse Show and Country Fair. Dating back to 1896, one of the oldest multi-breed horse shows in the nation still draws locals and visitors alike while celebrating its rich heritage.

Held in late May and early June, the Devon Horse Show is a highlight of the town’s event calendar. The Devon Fall Classic in September is devoted to jumping competitions, and Devon hosts many other festivals and events year-round.

Beyond its lively events, the town is a calm and charming place to experience local life. Terrain Cafe, located in Devon Yard, an open-air shopping area, serves ethical and conscious meals in a bright greenhouse next to a garden center full of colorful indoor and outdoor plants.

Nearby, a homewares boutique offers candles, lighting, and seasonal decorations.

Close to the Berwyn border, Devon features a collection of eateries, ranging from traditional taverns to artisanal bakeries, all serving flavorful fare.
