An oceanfront estate in South Florida owned by the late Mary Alice Dorrance Malone, a Campbell Soup heiress from Coatesville, has been listed for $85 million, writes Ryan Sharrow for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Situated on the barrier island of Manalapan between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, the 1.5-acre property sits just 12 miles from Palm Beach.

Constructed in 2024, the home offers eight bedrooms and 14 baths across 19,000 square feet of living space. Known as Saltbox, the property features 155 feet of ocean frontage.

Malone, who died aged 75 in June, was lead shareholder of The Campbell’s Co. and was its longest-serving board member, holding the role for 35 years.

Forbes most recently estimated her net worth at $4.1 billion, placing her among the wealthiest individuals in the Philadelphia region.

The granddaughter of John T. Dorrance, inventor of condensed soup, Malone split her time between her homes in Coatesville and Florida.

The Florida residence is being offered fully furnished and includes a movie room, game room, and fitness center indoors, as well as an oceanfront pool and spa outdoors, among other amenities.
