Bristol’s Mike Missanelli to Host Two Podcasts at Fideri News Network

Mike Missanelli joins the digital media startup Fideri News Network following his layoff from Beasley Broadcast Group’s 97.5 The Fanatic.

Bristol’s Mike Missanelli has joined the rapidly growing digital media startup Fideri News Network two months after his layoff from Beasley Broadcast Group’s 97.5 The Fanatic, writes Jeff Blumenthal for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The veteran sports talk host is set to lead two podcasts at his new media home as part of Fideri’s launch on the OnPattison podcast network.

Fideri emerged from an acquisition during which digital media startup Broad & Liberty acquired Access Network’s hyper-local news websites in an aggressive expansion.

The merged company now includes 19 websites and Levittown’s WBCB radio station, a broadcast partner for the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles.

All podcasts will stream on the network, air on WBCB, and be shared across its various websites.

Missanelli, a mainstay of Philadelphia sports talk for more than three decades, will team up with sports writer Anthony SanFilippo, vice president and editor at large for Fideri Sports, to host The Mike Missanelli Podcast, airing weekly.

SanFilippo previously produced Missanelli’s radio show for four years. Additionally, Missanelli will host the OnPattison Eagles Post Game Report.
