Lahaska’s Peddler’s Village Appoints Founders’ Daughter as New CEO

Donna Jamison Cave has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer at Peddler’s Village.

Donna Jamison Cave has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer at Peddler’s Village following the departure of Bob McGowan, writes Jeff Werner for the Patch.

For the past decade, Cave served as the chair of the board of directors at Peddler’s Village.

In her new role, she will be in charge of long-term planning for the real estate and hospitality business, which sees over two million visitors each year. She will also run the overall operations and resources for the attraction that employs more than 350 people.

The board emphasized the value of having Earl and Sheila Jamison’s daughter lead the family business they founded in 1962, noting her lifelong experience and deep familiarity with Peddler’s Village operations.

“There is no one more familiar with the Peddler’s Village ethos, history, and objectives than Donna Jamison Cave,” said the board. “Donna will steer Peddler’s Village in promising and inspiring ways, continuing to elevate retail and hospitality experiences for guests while also remaining attentive to the many valued employees and the property itself.”

“I am thrilled and honored to be the CEO of the business that my parents created,” said Cave.
