The Philadelphia Water Department (PWD)’s latest Drinking Water Quality Report is now available.

This free annual report compiles a year of data detailing the city’s drinking water quality.

PWD delivers high quality water to nearly 1.6 million Philadelphians daily.

According to data collected by the Bureau of Laboratory Services throughout 2024, the annual report’s results show that Philadelphia’s drinking water is top-quality.

The report follows Philadelphia’s tap water journey through:

● Source: Where the water comes from

● Treatment: What PWD does to keep water safe

● Delivery: Safe transit through the system

● Home: How residents can keep their water safe once it enters their home plumbing

In addition, the report highlights how PWD is protecting properties with lead plumbing, what PWD does to treat our water to remove “forever” chemicals like PFAS, and how PWD is revitalizing water storage and distribution.
