July Openings Set for 3 Restaurants Coming to Delaware County

Three distinct restaurants are opening this month in Delaware County.

The Philadelphia region will see a dozen new restaurants this summer, including three opening this month in Delaware County, writes Michael Klein for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Tlali in Upper Darby will feature Mexican cuisine and is expected to open in late July at 7219 West Chester Pike.

Chef Alberto Sandoval has 20 years of experience in the Philadelphia restaurant business and is originally from San Mateo Ozolco in Puebla.

Sandoval worked with his brother Efran for two years at Amada, as well as several years at Condesa. They both owned La Fonda de Teresita in South Philadelphia from 2012 to 2020.

Toastique at 108 Squire Drive in Newtown Square is a syndicated toast, juice, and coffee bar based in Washington, D.C. The local franchise will be run by Andrea and David Rea. It will open at 8 AM on July 19 in the Ellis Preserve.

The first 100 guests in line receive $50 in rewards dollars, with a minimum purchase of $10, redeemable for future visits. 

The Triple Crown at the Radnor Hotel, 593 E. Lancaster Avenue in Radnor, is an updated restaurant space from Fearless Restaurants. It’s expected to open at the end of July.
