Recently Built Home on the Coveted Delancey Place Hits Market for $4.6M

A home at 1727 Delancey Place has hit the market for $4.6 million. Constructed in 2018, this is the only one of five homes on the block not built in the 19th century or earlier.

A rare opportunity awaits buyers on Philadelphia’s most coveted street as a newly built home on Delancey Place has recently hit the market for $4.6 million, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The four-level home totals almost 4,500 square feet. It features five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and six outdoor spaces, including a large roof deck with views of Center City.

The home was constructed in 2018. However, while there are five homes currently available for sale between the 1700 and 1800 blocks of Delancey, all of these other properties date back to the 19th century or earlier.

This more modern home is bursting with spectacular amenities, including a sauna, a turfed yard, and a kitchen with marble finishes. The primary suite covers the entire fourth floor and includes a large walk-in closet, a private balcony, and a spa-like bathroom.

Set back from the street and detached from neighboring properties, the home has space for two cars in the front.

“You’re in a city but you feel like you’re pulling into your house with a gate and the entrance isn’t right off of the sidewalk,” said listing agent Nicoletti Walsh.
