Get Ready, Chester County! Trader Joe’s Has More Locations Coming Your Way

Trader Joe’s has new stores coming in Berwyn and Exton.

Trader Joe’s has officially confirmed two new locations coming to Chester County: one in Berwyn and one in Exton, writes Eric Henderson for PhillyBite Magazine.

While we already knew the arrival of Berwyn, Exton’s confirmation is fresh. The Berwyn store will be at 550 Lancaster Avenue in the Berwyn Shopping Center, taking over the former CVS/Acme. The Exton location will be at 125 West Lincoln Highway in West Whiteland Township.

These spaces are chosen based on population density, traffic patterns, and parking availability, according to company executives.

Both sites are listed as “Coming Soon!” by Trader Joe’s.

These new Pennsylvania stores are part of Trader Joe’s broader initiative to open 21 new stores across 13 states. The company is expanding as demand grows for its unique, budget-friendly products. They take pride in their prioritized customer interactions, despite the fact that many grocers are moving towards automation.

Specific grand opening dates for the Berwyn and Exton locations have not yet been announced, but many new stores nationwide are expected to open by the end of 2025.
