A favorite Mother’s Day gift is not making mom cook. Here are three Delaware County restaurants ready to do some pampering, writes Ben Silver for Main Line Today.
DiFabio’s in Media and Springfield, a Delaware County favorite, has its Mother’s Day brunch buffet on May 11 from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
There’s prime rib and brown sugar ham at both locations, along with French toast, eggs, bacon, penne vodka, and Grand Marnier.
For elegance, you can’t beat the Inn at Villanova University in Wayne.
It has Mother’s Day brunch seating at 10 AM and 1 PM.
There’s an omelet and waffle station, parfait and quiche Lorraine, a carving station for honey-glazed ham or roasted turkey breast, or you can order an entrée.
For those 21 and up, pre-order a bottle of champagne for the table.
The Streetlight Kitchen and Bar in Drexel Hill begins Mother’s Day dining at 11 AM and runs through 2 PM.
Dine to live music from Theresa Marie. A $59 prix-fixe meal offers crème brulee-dipped French toast, corned beef hash, and chicken crepes with crawfish Creole Mornay sauce, in addition to carving and omelet stations.
Dessert bars will also provide cakes and cookies.
